Yeah, today was another super fun day to be working from home. Commute was easy, about 12 steps from upstairs to downstairs, the coffee was fresh, should be, I made it myself, and my awesome wife was at my side. This days task was to get a marketing brochure started. The brochure is a piece that Patty will take with her to the live Military events, so it needed to be perfect. It’s about 65% done.
Sometimes things happen in your life and you can just feel the hand of God working. Yeah, I wish that I had better vision in that aspect but I keep looking and looking. Yesterday was one of those days.
As many of you know my family and I had to return from our move to Colorado last fall. We truly loved being in the west. Colorado Springs is a town that Patty and I enjoyed. The constant views of Pike’s Peak put nature in an awe that was so calming. We truly thought that we had arrived in the place that we, Patty and I that is, though God wanted us to be. But, then the economic crisis began and we realized that our vast finances (insert laughter) would be taxed too quickly. We decided that our best course of action was to return to Milwaukee. We just knew that our house was not going to sell. To say it has been a tough journey is an understatement. It’s like reaching for the brass ring, touching it, and falling off the horse as you drop the ring.
